Blue Pottery, also known as Talavera Azul, kicked off its colorful journey back in the 16th century during the Spanish takeover of Mexico. As the Spanish influence swept in, Mexican artisans infused traditional techniques with a splash of creativity, adding vibrant colors and intricate designs to the mix. This fusion of centuries-old craftsmanship with a dash of European, Asian, and Arab styles gave birth to the exquisite artistry and top-notch quality that defines Mexican Talavera.
